Digital Project Manager

FLSA Status: Exempt
Reports To: Director of Operations
Department: Operations

Position Summary:

This candidate must be able to take full ownership of the project success, specifically define project scope with internal and client resources, develop the project plans, organize workflow for the team, manage staff workloads (resource management), develop budgets and project schedules. The Interactive/Digital Project Manager's primary responsibility is to deliver on time and on budget each phase of the interactive/digital project. This ranges from scope, planning, through creative, development, and QC. The Interactive/Digital Project Manager is the go to person and day-to-day contact to account teams while serving in a managerial role for the design and development teams.

Position Requirements:

  • College degree, preferably in marketing, communications or information sciences
  • 5+ years agency experience, preferably healthcare
  • Experience must include digital projects, such as websites, mobile sites/apps, contests and campaigns
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, organize client requirements, define project scope create project plans, budgets and schedules
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project scope and schedules; successfully identifying and executing change orders
  • Outstanding ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and manage project details
  • Demonstrated experience with understanding the technical needs of information architecture, wireframing and CMS implementation process

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • MS Office suite, particularly excel, Acrobat, Project management software, Multiple browsers functionality.

Position Responsibilities:

Demonstrates behavior expected of a professional member of the organization, including but not limited to:

  • Leading the identification and negotiation of project requirements to define scope
  • Managing cross functional resources to meet project milestones and deliver final product
  • Assisting Account Services Teams in the development of proposals, responsible for developing budgets and timelines.
  • Maintaining project documentation and understanding job details (scope document, estimates, creative brief, change orders, revision notices and client approvals)
  • Maintaining a constant awareness timing requirements and workloads across departments
  • Identifying and managing scope changes, communicating the impact of these changes to the internal teams
  • Assure proper project communication to all team members and clients to meet the established project deadlines
  • Working internally to recruit, assign and manage team resources (contract, partner, and in-house teams)

Participates in professional growth and development:

  • Attends Company sponsored in-services and/or continuing education.
  • Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations as necessary.

Participates in other activities:

  • Performs other job duties as assigned.
  • Cross trains in other positions as requested.
